Watch creativity unfold and view the Smidmore street entry turned an urban canvas. During the Sydney Fringe Festival, we welcome local artist @stynabyna Christina Huynh to Marrickville Metro to carry-out a new artwork where the viewer can lose their self in a moment and feel inspired by a Richard Biby poem 'Just a dog'.
"The hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past and the pure joy of the moment'
The two sides of the entrance display beautiful artworks in creation during Sunday 1st September and finishing on or around Friday 6th September. On one side, encapsulates a woman and her dog looking out to a mountaneous landscape with air balloons and the other shows the raw beauty of flowers and the stunning nature that stems from every flower.
Available during the whole of September - the entrance available to view and dwell at any time.
Marrickville Metro is proud to be a Supporting Partner of the Sydney Fringe Festival. The full programme of events (on our doorstep in Marrickville, Newtown and Enmore) during the festival can be found at the sydney fringe festival website
