Turkish Bread Sub by Bakers Delight

  • 1 Turkish bread
  • 1 clove garlic, minced.
  • 1 large rump steak
  • 250g Caramelised onions
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 150g Chedder cheese
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 handfuls of Rocket
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 Tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup Dijon Mustard

  1. Marinate steak in oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and minced garlic for at least 2 hrs.
  2. Cook steak to medium rare, rest.
  3. Slice steak into thin strips.
  4. Half Turkish bread horizontally and spread bottom half with mustard.
  5. Layer with steak, onions, cheese, tomatoes, rocket and top with other half of the Turkish bread.
